Message as it is for everyone, but one of the first things I always make sure is done is a new larger radiator. It can't ever hurt. And it is really a pretty easy mod.

If you get a thermostat, go with a Billion. I got a Nismo and it is basically the same as factory. Billion is much better supposedly.

You shouldnt need a water pump unless things really went to shit.

Our cars are hot and they get hotter sitting at idle, or when pushed really hard. If there are any little cracks or breaks in the system it can have all sorts of unintended consequences which mostly manifsest themselves in coolant leakage and overheating temp gauge. didnt you faceplant your Z into a mountainside not too long ago? Or was that someone else? If it was you then you want to check all around your fascia.

I have found leaks on the radiator lower return hose on my car and replaced it with Z1 silicone. If you are real, REAL concerned and dont trust the silicone to withstand debris then Z1 also makes a chrome lower hardpipe. You just really want to make sure you have good clamps and good seals at all your connections. Make sure your radiator cap isnt bent or warped or anything, and check your overflow nipple for cracks, check the overflow hose and overflow tank.
